Your profile picture is your business card! It appears in the search and influences other member’s impression of you. And the first impression counts!

If one or more pictures violate our guidelines, they will be deleted. Multiple violations can lead to a complete deletion of your profile.

Make sure your pictures do not violate the following guidelines:

Multiple people

Pictures / photos with several recognizable people on them will be deleted. We cannot tell which person created the profile, and do not know if the other people on the picture agree with appearing on our portal. So please upload a picture with only yourself, properly and clearly visible.

Face not recognizable

Pictures without a visible face or with a face made unrecognizable will be deleted. Members want to know who they are writing with - so reveal who is behind your profile with your photo - a clear picture of you will increase your chances!

Children in the picture

Images of children or teenagers will be deleted by us. Our portal is designed for the target group from 18+ Pictures of them have no place on our portal.

Pornography - nudity

Pictures with pornographic images, sexual acts or too much nudity will be deleted. Please think of other members and upload a decent picture of yourself. This is not the place for pictures of sexual preferences or genitals.

Violence - Insults - Racism - Religion

Pictures with violence, insults, political slogans or racist insinuations will be deleted. We value diversity and respect all people - regardless of their distinguishing characteristics such as gender, skin colour, ethnic origin, or religion.

Courtesy, common decency and manners are required for all our members.

Anyone who cannot abide by this is not welcome here, and this can even lead to the deletion of the profile.

Telephone numbers, advertising of other services

Pictures with phone numbers, social media profiles, etc., will be deleted to protect you and innocent people.

We cannot guarantee that the information on the picture will actually lead back to you.

We also recommend you protect your personal information from abuse. Use the chat feature to chat with other members.

Drugs

Pictures on which drugs of any kind are pictured or consumed, will be deleted.

Therefore, be careful what your profile is associated with and that you are not misunderstood by other members due to a poorly selected image.

You’re not in the picture

Pictures of landscapes, graphics, comics, brands, coats of arms, etc. will be deleted.

We cannot guarantee that you have the (image) rights to the associated text and / or image. Even when the landscape is breathtakingly beautiful or the comic really funny - the main topic on your profile is you! Therefore, you should be easily recognizable in your photo.

Face not recognizable

Pictures without a visible face or with a face made unrecognizable will be deleted. These include pictures with sunglasses, motorcycle helmets, and selfies where the phone covers part of or the entire face. Members want to know who they are writing to/with - so reveal who is behind your profile with your photo - a clear picture of you will increase your chances!
